Dr Adam Keyes-Tilley

BDSc (Melb) FRACDS FICCDE

Dr Adam Keyes-Tilley is a practitioner, innovator and educator in dentistry in Melbourne.

Adam is one of the most experienced dental surgeons in Melbourne and has postgraduate training in many areas of dentistry, including Surgical Implants (Osseointegration and Prosthodontics) and Soft Tissue Management around Implants, Root Canal (Endodontics) and Periodontics. He been recognised by his peers as a mentor and leader in Restorative Dentistry & Periodontics.

He leads the practice team at Complete Dental Care in St Kilda Road and brings close to three decades of experience across multiple disciplines, including Aesthetic, Reconstructive, Orthodontic and Implant Dentistry.

Academic

Adam is also an academic educator and lecturer in General and Implant Dentistry around Australia. He is currently the RACDS Chair of the Board of Studies MRACDS(GDP) and President of the Australian Osseointegration Society Victorian Branch. He has also run Implant Mentor Programs for other dentists here in Melbourne. He enjoys using his cross disciplinary dental knowledge to work with his patients developing and sequencing complex, integrated dental treatment plans that look fantastic and function reliably.

He was admitted as member Royal Australian College of Dental Surgeons in 2009 and has been a Fellow of the College since 2011 (Restorative Dentistry & Periodontics in General Practice).  He was later admitted in 2012 as a Fellow with the International College of Continuing Dental Education (Orthodontics in General Dentistry).  He completed his MRACDS in 2009 and finished postgraduate studies to obtain an FRACDS in General Dentistry (Periodontics & Restorative elective), winning the Royal Australian College of Dental Surgeons’ Sutherland Prize for most outstanding student in 2011.

Adam enthusiastically stays ahead of the curve and investigates all new advances.  For the last decade, he has been considered an innovator in several fields of dentistry, including Prosthodontics, Orthodontics and Restorative Dentistry. He is also a thought-leader in digital dentistry, an evolving field of dentistry, which includes using the most advanced 3-Dimensional scanning, modeling and printing technology for the convenience and benefit of his patients.

His approach to dental care is described as holistic and highly-relational. He is genuinely interested in a long-term relationship with his patients and their lives beyond their teeth.   He is also driven by the long-term needs and goals of his patients, rather than looking to short-term ‘fixes’.

Adam works hard to ensure that all complex dental treatments deliver outstanding results and that care is coordinated so it has minimal impact on patient’s life and work commitments.   As a result, many patients have been with him for decades and he’s now treating the children and grandchildren of his early patients.
