Dr Simon WongProfessional

Dr Wong is an experienced clinician whose focus for the last 22 years has been to refine his skills in cosmetic reconstructive dentistry. Dr Wong’s many years of practice in rural Victoria and Great Britain in the 1990’s has given him the foresight to continue concurrent training in dental nutrition.

The preventative bias that is augmenting his practice has further peaked interest in developing treatment in orthodontics with an emphasis on early intervention growth guidance.

A graduate of the 1991 class at the Dental School of Melbourne University, Dr Wong continued his academic training at the UCL Eastman Dental Institute of London, UK in the field of endodontics, oral surgery and occlusion. His most notable recent studies include a residency programme in TMJ dysfunction with Professor Steve Olmos of the University of Tennessee and a 2 year orthodontic programme with Progressive Orthodontic Seminars. Last year he completed a Californian residency programme in Biobloc Orthotropics with Dr William Hang.

Dr Wong has been awarded a Fellowship from the International College of Continuing Dental Education and established his credentials in Orthotropics by achieving his Diploma from the Prof. Mews London School. He is a lecturer for the University of Melbourne Dental School and has international engagements to speak on children’s dental facial growth.
