Dr Adam Keyes-Tilley

Adam finished his degree in Dental Science at Melbourne University in 1991.

Upon entering private practice, he first worked at surgeries in Collins Street, Carlton, Lower Plenty and 517 St Kilda Road.

In mid 1992 Adam relocated to 468 St Kilda Road, the current location Complete Dental Care St Kilda Road.

During the period 1992-93 Adam, in addition to practicing in St Kilda Road and Collins Street began practicing at the Monash Community Health Centre (treatment centre for the underprivileged) on a sessional basis.

In late 1993 Adam opened a second Practice in Male Street Brighton.

During the latter part of 1995 Adam also worked in London as a locum.

Adam now practices exclusively in St Kilda Road.

Adam's interests are in General, Aesthetic, Reconstructive and Implant Dentistry. He has completed numerous postgraduate courses in Restorative, Crown and Bridge, Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry. He enthusiastically studies and investigates all new advances in dentistry and where appropriate incorporates them into practice as soon as possible.

Working in the St Kilda Road region Adam treats many interstate, international and Consular patients who have temporarily relocated to Melbourne for work commitments. Many of these patients upon leaving Melbourne continue to return to our Practice incorporating holidays and/or work with treatment needs.

How does Adam attract so many patients from all around the world?

His answer is obvious: "By word of mouth"

Personal

Adam has been married to Linda since 1995. Adam, Linda and their children Finn and Rose live together in Elwood. Adam enjoys Windsurfing, Surfing, Sailing, Swimming, Running, Gym, Snow skiing, Snowboarding, Reading, Music and Travel.
Adam also lectures in General and Implant Dentistry around Australia and currently runs an Implant Mentor Program for other dentists on behalf of Nobel Biocare here in Melbourne.

Adam is also part owner of a training company that runs clinical and practice management courses for dental auxillaries.

 

Dr. Fern PX Trinh
Dentist

Fern graduated with honours from Melbourne University.  She has worked in numerous private practices from the Mornington Peninsula, Brunswick and St.Vincents hospital, prior to joining our team in 2006.

She enjoys the variety in general dentistry and embraces new advancements.  Her particular interests in general dentistry are cosmetic, reconstructive and paediatric dentistry.  Fern integrates all this into her practice of orthdontics, where she helps all patients from young children to mature-aged adults obtain beautiful, harmonised smiles.  She is always undergoing continuous studies to further enhance her knowledge in orthodontics and general dentistry.  She loves to be constantly challenged!

Fern has also acted as a volunteer dentist in the Rotary Australia-Vietnam dental health project, to provide primary and emergency dental care to children in Vietnam. She endeavours to continue taking part in such health programs, where much satisfaction will be gained through travelling and dentistry combined.

Fern has travelled extensively throughout Europe and Asia and her fluency in English, French and Vietnamese has greatly enlightened her travels.  To maintain health and wellbeing, she has studied and practised Yoga for many years, and enjoys cycling, social squash and jogging. 

 

Dr.Aniko Ball
Dentist

Aniko migrated from Hungary as a teenager. She graduated as a dentist from Melbourne University in 1976.

After 10 years as a general dentist she limited her practice to the treatment of gum disease, and the dental management of snoring and sleep apnoea.

Her approach to the practice of dentistry is based on a philosophy of helping people help themselves, and oral health being integral to general health and wellness.

Aniko has trained in hypnosis and relaxation in order to make her patients more comfortable.  She has a great interest in Mind – Body – Medicine, she has taught meditation and stress management. Aniko is particularly interested and experienced in Sleep Apnoea assessement and it's effects on patient's day-to-day lives.  She has been treating this condition, which affects so many people, for many years now and is more than happy to assess anyone that feels their life is impacted by Sleep Apnoea.

She keeps fit by power walking, meditates for peace of mind and loves books on personal and spiritual growth.
Aniko has a daughter, Lisa, who is a lawyer.

 

Dr Stefan Danylak
Dentist

With over 25 years of experience Dr Danylak brings a vast range of clinical skills and knowledge to CDC.

Having graduated from Sydney University in 1980 he has practiced in multiple clinics including Fleet St in London and in central Sydney and Melbourne.

He completed postgraduate studies in fixed prosthodontics at Melbourne University in 1991 which has led to developing areas of special interest in reconstructive, cosmetic, implant , laser and microscope dentistry.

Dr Danylak is the first and only dentist to have completed a Masters of Enterpise Innovation from Swinburne Graduate School of Management where he pursued research into telemedicine and the processes of integrating the latest advances in technology into daily practice.

Through family he maintains an active interest in the community via Carey Baptist Grammar and the scouting movement. He is also a fair second tenor in a mens choir and is currently resurrecting his once nimble skills on flute clarinet and sax.

HYGIENISTS

Anita Wool
Dental Hygienist - RHD

Anita originally graduated as a Dental Therapist in Melbourne in 1987. In 1992 she completed her studies in South Australia to become a Dental Hygienist. Anita has worked for many years in both general and orthodontic practices prior to joining CDC.

One of Anita passions is travel and she combines this with as many dental conferences as possible. She also enjoys gym, dining out, movies and the occasional game of golf.


   

Kate Fillis
Dental Hygienist - RHD

Kate has been in the dental industry for 8 years. She previously worked as a Dental Assistant before moving to Perth to study Dental Hygiene.

Kate has previously at worked at Practices in Collins Street and Glen Waverly prior to joining CDC.

Kate has relished working in an environment where everyone is committed to the oral hygiene programme we offer at CDC and recognises the benefits that treatment and prevention offers toward overall health.

Kate's interests include camping, fishing, jet skiing and spoiling her boxer Murray.

FRONT OFFICE MANAGEMENT

Ms Debbie Wilson
Practice Coordinator

Debbie has been in the dental industry for twenty-five years and has experience in clinical and management areas.

Debbie joined our practice in 2007 in the position of Practice Coordinator.
She is happily married with three children. She enjoys playing competitive tennis twice a week and walking.

For the best results in our Practice we often find a ‘team approach’ to treatment utilising the skills of multiple practitioners is required.

One of Debbie’s main roles within the Practice is to Coordinate all Treatment (from one visit through to 3 year plans) in the most efficient and suitable manner, for you the patient, to facilitate optimal treatment outcomes

She is currently enrolled in a Practice Management Course through the UNE of Sydney and enjoys continuing her education.

 

Mr Martin Capocchi
Hygiene Coordinator

Martin joins the CDC Team bringing a wealth of Customer Service Experience from Qantas and 4 years of running his own business.

Martin runs the Hygiene department serving your needs from at the front desk and telephone enquiries.

Martin looks forward to help making your entire Complete Dental Care experience a memorable and relaxing experience.

Martin spends most of my spare time with my partner and little staffie.

 

Ms Nicole Lock
Reception

Nicole has been a dental assistant and practice manager since 1995.

Nicole initially worked at CDC from 2003-2005 before going on an ‘extended maternity’ leave for a few years taking care of her 2 daughters Hailey and Aimee.

Nicole has come back to work in the practice part time whilst running her own business training dental staff.

CLINICAL SUPPORT STAFF

Ms Kathy Smith
Clinical Coordinator

Kathy has been in the dental industry for 27 years and moved in 2008 from a specialist Prosthodontic (crown and bridge) practice to CDC to become our Clinical Coordinator.

Kathy has extensive experience in all aspects of dentistry and particular expertise in Aesthetics, implants, crown and bridge. She enjoys the challenge of assisting Dr Keyes-Tilley in these areas at CDC. Kathy places a huge emphasis on patient comfort and care and strives to do this in an efficient and light hearted manner.


Kathy is married with three children and loves attending live theatre and enjoys overseas travel

 

Ms Sarah Grosveld
Assistant Clinical Coordinator

Sarah, who has been a dental nurse since 2004, recently joined our practice in January 2008.

She is currently undertaking Radiography Certificate IV, as well as Oral Health and Education Certificate IV. She enjoys this opportunity as it will enable her to structure educational programs to assist the community with a better understanding for Oral health in future.

Sarah works alongside Dr Fern Trinh as her senior nurse. Her main interest is working with Fern to create aesthetic smiles through orthodontics. This is both a challenging and rewarding part of her work within our practice.

Whilst keeping herself busy with ongoing education training Sarah is also looking forward to lending her skills and assistance to volunteer work in the near future.

She also enjoys travelling, and has recently come back from a rewarding break in Darwin where she enjoyed the warmth and culture.

Sarah loves sitting down in a quiet place to read a good book.

 

Ms Cynthia Lock
Assistant Hygiene Coordinator

Cynthia has worked in the dental industry for over 8 years as a qualified Dental Assistant.

She joined CDC in 2008, after returning from an extended working visa in both Dublin and London, before embarking on her ‘Eurasia’ travels (that broadened her horizons and enhanced her tastebuds.)

Cynthia is currently undertaking her dental radiography certificate. She enjoys socializing with friends and family and has been known to dance up a storm to her favorite MJ tune ‘Thriller’

 

Ms Rebecca Mollica
Senior Nurse

Bec came to our practice in 2008 after working in a specialist prosthodontic practice for 4 years and also in general practice in Nowra NSW for 2 years. She completed her Certificate III in Dental Assisting in 2003 at RMIT University.

Bec works chairside with both Dr Adam Keyes-Tilley and Dr Stefan Danylak provididng the highest quality care to our patients.

Bec enjoys the challenges and rewards of being part of a bigger practice and looks forward to expanding on her knowledge and skills in a new and exciting environment.
 
Outside of work Bec keeps busy with a good hit of tennis, a night out listening to her favourite bands play and training her pet parikeet "Taj" to talk!
